1. Introduction

1.1 Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains how Knowledge Transfer LLC, a Delaware limited liability company doing business as Bargain Club Shop, collects, uses, discloses, stores, deletes, and protects personal information.

1.2 Services Covered. This Privacy Policy applies to the Bargain Club Shop website, membership portal, product listings, product drops, product purchases, redemption-code flows, community features, customer support, shipping, payments, fraud prevention, identity verification, and related services.

1.3 Related Terms. This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Bargain Club Shop Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy may have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Service.

1.4 Use of the Service. By using Bargain Club Shop, creating an account, purchasing a membership, claiming a product, purchasing a product, submitting information, participating in community spaces, or otherwise using the service, you acknowledge the collection, use, disclosure, retention, and deletion practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Business Identity and Contact Information

2.1 Legal Entity. Bargain Club Shop is operated by Knowledge Transfer LLC, a Delaware limited liability company.

2.2 Public Brand. The public-facing brand is Bargain Club Shop.

3. Privacy Posture Summary

3.1 No Sale of Customer Lists. Bargain Club Shop does not sell customer lists.

3.2 No Sharing of Customer Lists for Third-Party Marketing. Bargain Club Shop does not share customer lists with partners, sponsors, vendors, suppliers, advertisers, or other third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3.3 No Advertising Pixels or Marketing Analytics at Launch. Bargain Club Shop does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, advertising pixels, retargeting pixels, affiliate tracking, referral tracking, or similar marketing analytics tools at launch.

3.4 No Retargeting Ads. Bargain Club Shop does not run retargeting ads at launch.

3.5 No Affiliate or Referral Tracking. Bargain Club Shop does not use affiliate links or referral tracking at launch.

3.6 No Email Marketing Provider. Bargain Club Shop does not use a third-party email marketing provider at launch.

3.7 Transactional Email Provider. Bargain Club Shop uses Postmark for transactional and service-related emails.

3.8 No Third-Party Customer-Support Platform. Bargain Club Shop does not use a third-party customer-support platform at launch. Customer support is handled through admin@bargainclubshop.com.

3.9 No Fraud Vendor Beyond Stripe. Bargain Club Shop does not use a fraud-prevention vendor beyond Stripe at launch.

3.10 Stripe Payments and KYC. Bargain Club Shop uses Stripe for payment processing and may use Stripe for know-your-customer, identity-verification, payment-verification, and related risk-screening services.

3.11 Discord Identifiers. Bargain Club Shop may store Discord usernames and Discord user IDs when needed to connect community access, moderation, or role status to website membership.

3.12 No Customer Data Shared to Discord. Bargain Club Shop does not share customer account, purchase, payment, shipping, KYC, or order data with Discord.

3.13 United States Only at Launch. Bargain Club Shop serves only United States customers at launch.

3.14 No State Exclusions at Launch. Bargain Club Shop does not exclude specific U.S. states at launch, but reserves the right to restrict jurisdictions later if needed.

4. Information We Collect

4.1 Account Information. We may collect account information, including name, email address, password or authentication credentials, phone number if required for verification or account security, membership status, account creation date, login activity, and account activity history.

4.2 Membership and Subscription Information. We may collect membership and subscription information, including subscription status, renewal date, billing history, cancellation history, refund history, membership-benefit usage, claimed-drop history, and redemption-code history.

4.3 Purchase and Order Information. We may collect purchase and order information, including products viewed, claimed, or purchased; product prices; order numbers; transaction records; shipping address; billing address; delivery status; return requests; refund requests; product-defect claims; shipping-damage claims; and lost-package claims.

4.4 Payment Information. Payment method information is handled through Stripe. Bargain Club Shop does not intend to store full card numbers, CVV codes, or raw payment credentials. We may store or receive payment status, Stripe customer identifiers, Stripe transaction identifiers, failed-payment data, dispute data, chargeback data, refund data, and risk signals.

4.5 Verification and KYC Information. We may collect or receive identity-verification status, verification results, Stripe KYC or Stripe Identity session information, and information needed to confirm identity, prevent fraud, verify eligibility, or approve high-value purchases.

4.6 Enhanced Verification Information. For purchases of $500 or more, high-risk activity, suspicious activity, or other circumstances determined by Bargain Club Shop, we may require enhanced verification through Stripe. Enhanced verification may include document checks, identity-number checks, address checks, phone checks, live selfie, facial comparison, or similar checks supported by Stripe.

4.7 Live-Selfie or Biometric-Style Verification. If live-selfie, facial-comparison, or biometric-style verification is required, Bargain Club Shop will provide a separate disclosure and obtain separate click-through consent before the applicable verification event. Bargain Club Shop does not intend to store biometric templates or raw biometric identifiers directly. Stripe or another verification provider should handle the verification flow.

4.8 Verification Records Retained by BCS. Bargain Club Shop may store verification status, verification result, risk flags, timestamps, provider identifiers, audit records, and related information needed for fraud prevention, account enforcement, dispute handling, legal compliance, and service operation.

4.9 Fraud Prevention and Risk Information. We may collect fraud prevention and risk information, including IP address, device information, browser type, operating system, login activity, failed login attempts, payment risk signals received from Stripe, address risk signals, account-linkage signals, duplicate-account indicators, household-limit indicators, VPN/proxy/automation indicators, suspicious-access indicators, chargeback indicators, refund-abuse indicators, return-abuse indicators, and manual review notes.

4.10 Communications and Support Information. We may collect communications and support information, including emails sent to or from Bargain Club Shop, transactional and service-related emails sent through Postmark, support requests, return requests, shipping-claim communications, verification communications, customer-service notes, screenshots, photos, documentation, or other files submitted by customers.

4.11 Community and Discord Information. We may collect or store Discord usernames, Discord user IDs, Discord role information, Discord channel access status, Discord moderation status, community posts, messages, reactions, comments, screenshots, or other content submitted in Bargain Club Shop-controlled spaces.

4.12 Moderation Information. We may collect community-moderation information, including moderation records, warnings, mutes, bans, community-rule enforcement history, abuse reports, and related notes. Discord membership is separate from website membership, but community activity may be reviewed for fraud, abuse, safety, legal compliance, or rule enforcement.

4.13 Website, Security, and Operational Logs. We may collect website, security, and operational information, including pages viewed on Bargain Club Shop, buttons clicked inside the service, session activity, device identifiers used for security or account protection, cookies and similar technologies needed for login, cart, claim, session, fraud-prevention, and security functionality, error logs, performance logs, security logs, and server logs.

4.14 Information You Choose to Provide. We may collect any other information you voluntarily provide, including messages, comments, screenshots, testimonials, reviews, product feedback, support information, claim documentation, return documentation, and shipping-claim documentation.

5. How We Use Information

5.1 Account Creation and Management. We use personal information to create accounts, authenticate users, manage memberships, maintain account records, and provide access to Bargain Club Shop features.

5.2 Membership Access. We use personal information to provide membership access, administer membership benefits, and manage subscription status.

5.3 Billing and Payments. We use personal information to process subscription payments, product purchases, refunds, failed payments, disputes, chargebacks, and related payment activity.

5.4 Product Drops and Claims. We use personal information to administer product drops, queues, claim windows, redemption codes, claim limits, product-specific rules, product eligibility, and purchase access.

5.5 Order Fulfillment. We use personal information to process orders, confirm purchases, ship products, provide tracking information, manage delivery issues, process returns, process refunds, resolve product-defect claims, and handle lost or damaged shipment claims.

5.6 Identity Verification and Eligibility. We use personal information to verify identity, verify eligibility, approve or deny high-value purchases, enforce account rules, and comply with verification requirements.

5.7 Fraud Prevention and Abuse Control. We use personal information to prevent fraud, bots, duplicate accounts, household-limit evasion, payment abuse, chargebacks, return abuse, code sharing, account transfers, prohibited access methods, and other violations of the Terms of Service.

5.8 Customer Communications. We use personal information to communicate about accounts, orders, claims, redemption codes, billing, shipping, verification, returns, refunds, disputes, security, support, community access, and policy updates.

5.9 Community Operation and Moderation. We use personal information to operate community spaces, manage Discord-related access, enforce community rules, investigate misconduct, moderate content, review abuse reports, and maintain community safety.

5.10 Service Improvement. We use personal information to improve the website, membership portal, product listings, drop mechanics, claim flows, customer support, fraud controls, internal operations, and user experience.

5.11 Legal Compliance and Enforcement. We use personal information to comply with legal obligations, respond to legal requests, enforce the Terms of Service, protect Bargain Club Shop's rights, defend against claims, and preserve records needed for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, chargeback, or legal purposes.

6. How We Share Information

6.1 Limited Sharing. Bargain Club Shop shares personal information only as needed to operate the service, provide memberships, process purchases, process payments, verify identity, ship products, manage returns, resolve claims, comply with law, enforce rights, or complete business operations described in this Privacy Policy.

6.2 Stripe. We may share information with Stripe for payment processing, billing, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, KYC, identity verification, risk screening, and related payment or verification services. Stripe's own privacy policy, service terms, and verification terms may also apply.

6.3 Postmark. We may share email addresses, message content, delivery information, and related transactional-email data with Postmark for transactional and service-related emails.

6.4 Shipping Carriers. We may share information with shipping carriers as needed to ship products, provide tracking, confirm delivery, investigate delivery issues, and resolve lost, damaged, delayed, or misdelivered packages.

6.5 Shipping-Insurance Providers. We may share order, shipment, contact, address, photo, damage, documentation, and claim information with shipping-insurance providers or claim administrators as needed to submit, support, investigate, or resolve insurance claims.

6.6 Returns, Defects, and Suppliers. We may share order, product, return, defect, or claim information with suppliers, manufacturers, service providers, advisors, or claim administrators where needed to resolve returns, product-defect claims, replacement issues, or operational disputes.

6.7 Hosting, Infrastructure, Database, Storage, Security, and Operational Vendors. We may share or process information through service providers that provide hosting, infrastructure, database, storage, security, monitoring, logging, backup, and operational services. Bargain Club Shop does not publicly name all infrastructure, database, storage, security, or operational vendors in this Privacy Policy.

6.8 Professional Advisors. We may share information with attorneys, accountants, tax advisors, compliance consultants, auditors, insurers, and other professional advisors where reasonably needed for business, legal, tax, accounting, risk-management, or compliance purposes.

6.9 Discord Information. Bargain Club Shop may store Discord usernames and Discord user IDs to connect Discord roles, access, and moderation status to website membership. Bargain Club Shop does not share customer account, purchase, payment, shipping, KYC, or order data with Discord.

6.10 Discord's Own Practices. Discord's own terms and privacy policy apply to your direct use of Discord. Bargain Club Shop is not responsible for Discord's independent privacy practices.

6.11 Legal, Safety, and Enforcement. We may disclose information to comply with law, legal process, subpoenas, court orders, regulatory requests, law-enforcement requests, chargeback proceedings, payment disputes, arbitration, litigation, or other legal claims.

6.12 Protection of Rights. We may disclose information to protect Bargain Club Shop's rights, enforce the Terms of Service, prevent fraud, investigate abuse, protect users, protect the service, recover amounts owed, resolve disputes, or respond to safety concerns.

6.13 Business Transfers. We may disclose or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, restructuring, bankruptcy, change of control, or similar business transaction.

6.14 No Sale of Customer Lists. Bargain Club Shop does not sell customer lists and does not share customer lists with partners, sponsors, vendors, suppliers, or advertisers for their own marketing purposes.

7. Services and Tracking Tools Not Used at Launch

7.1 No Marketing Analytics Tools. At launch, Bargain Club Shop does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, PostHog, or similar marketing analytics tools.

7.2 No Advertising Tracking. At launch, Bargain Club Shop does not use retargeting ads, advertising pixels, cross-site advertising trackers, affiliate links, or referral tracking.

7.3 No Third-Party Email Marketing Platform. At launch, Bargain Club Shop does not use a third-party email marketing platform.

7.4 No Third-Party Customer-Support Platform. At launch, Bargain Club Shop does not use Zendesk, Intercom, HelpScout, Freshdesk, or another third-party customer-support platform.

7.5 No Fraud Vendor Beyond Stripe. At launch, Bargain Club Shop does not use Sift, Signifyd, Riskified, MaxMind, or another third-party fraud-prevention vendor beyond Stripe.

7.6 Future Changes. If Bargain Club Shop later adds analytics tools, advertising pixels, retargeting ads, affiliate tracking, referral tracking, email marketing platforms, customer-support platforms, or additional fraud-prevention vendors, Bargain Club Shop should update this Privacy Policy before or when those practices begin.

8. Cookies, Sessions, and Similar Technologies

8.1 Necessary Technologies. Bargain Club Shop may use cookies, local storage, session storage, log files, and similar technologies needed to operate the website and membership portal.

8.2 Purposes. These technologies may support login sessions, account security, cart functionality, product claims, redemption-code flows, fraud prevention, checkout, performance, error monitoring, and service functionality.

8.3 No Advertising Cookies at Launch. Bargain Club Shop does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, affiliate tracking, referral tracking, or third-party marketing analytics tools at launch.

8.4 Browser Controls. You may be able to control some cookies through your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent the site from working correctly.

9. Marketing and Communications

9.1 Transactional Communications. Bargain Club Shop may send transactional and service-related communications about accounts, orders, memberships, drops, claims, billing, shipping, verification, security, returns, refunds, disputes, policy updates, and community access.

9.2 Postmark. Bargain Club Shop uses Postmark for transactional and service-related emails.

9.3 No Email Marketing Provider at Launch. Bargain Club Shop does not use a third-party email marketing provider at launch.

9.4 No SMS Alerts at Launch. Bargain Club Shop does not currently use SMS alerts as a standard service feature.

9.5 Future Marketing Changes. If Bargain Club Shop later adds email marketing, SMS alerts, referral programs, affiliate links, promotional tracking, or similar features, Bargain Club Shop should update this Privacy Policy and implement any required consent or opt-out processes before or when those features begin.

10. Identity Verification, Live Selfie, and Biometric-Style Verification

10.1 Verification Requirement. Bargain Club Shop may require identity verification for purchases of $500 or more, high-risk activity, suspicious activity, suspected fraud, suspected account abuse, payment risk, return abuse, chargeback risk, or other circumstances determined by Bargain Club Shop.

10.2 Stripe Verification. Verification is expected to be handled through Stripe. Stripe may collect and process information needed for payment verification, identity verification, fraud prevention, and risk screening.

10.3 Possible Verification Methods. Verification may include document checks, identity-number checks, address checks, phone checks, live selfie, facial comparison, or similar checks supported by Stripe.

10.4 Separate Consent. If live-selfie, facial-comparison, or biometric-style verification is required, Bargain Club Shop will provide a separate disclosure and obtain separate click-through consent before the applicable verification event.

10.5 BCS Does Not Store Biometric Templates. Bargain Club Shop does not intend to store biometric templates or raw biometric identifiers directly. Stripe or the applicable verification provider should handle the verification flow.

10.6 BCS Verification Records. Bargain Club Shop may store verification status, verification result, risk flags, timestamps, provider identifiers, and related records needed for audit, fraud prevention, account enforcement, dispute handling, legal compliance, and service operation.

10.7 Refusal or Failure to Verify. If you decline, fail, or do not complete required verification, Bargain Club Shop may deny, cancel, or limit access to the applicable claim, purchase, membership feature, or account.

11. Data Security

11.1 Safeguards. Bargain Club Shop uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.

11.2 Examples of Safeguards. Safeguards may include TLS, access controls, hashed passwords, payment-tokenization through Stripe, limited internal access, logging, monitoring, backups, and vendor controls.

11.3 No Absolute Security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Bargain Club Shop cannot guarantee absolute security.

11.4 User Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining account-password security and promptly reporting suspected account compromise to admin@bargainclubshop.com.

12. Data Retention

12.1 General Retention Period. Bargain Club Shop generally retains inactive account records, cancelled membership records, order records, fraud records, chargeback records, return records, shipping-claim records, and support records for 7 years.

12.2 Operational Retention. Bargain Club Shop may retain personal information as long as needed to operate the service, provide memberships, process purchases, manage returns, manage chargebacks, prevent fraud, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

12.3 Post-Cancellation Retention. Account data may be retained after cancellation where needed for fraud prevention, legal compliance, accounting, tax records, payment disputes, chargeback defense, return abuse, household-limit enforcement, shipping claims, product-defect claims, or dispute resolution.

12.4 Verification Retention. Identity-verification records may be retained according to Stripe or provider retention rules, Bargain Club Shop's legal obligations, fraud-prevention needs, dispute-resolution needs, and applicable law.

12.5 Avoiding Unnecessary Sensitive Retention. Bargain Club Shop should avoid retaining unnecessary raw identity documents, biometric data, or sensitive verification materials directly if Stripe can handle the verification flow.

12.6 Longer Retention Where Needed. Bargain Club Shop may retain certain information longer than 7 years where required or permitted by law, needed for an active dispute, needed to enforce the Terms of Service, needed for fraud prevention, or needed to protect Bargain Club Shop or its users.

13. Account Deletion and Right to Be Forgotten

13.1 Deletion Requests. You may request account deletion by emailing admin@bargainclubshop.com.

13.2 Email-Only at Launch. Account deletion will not be available through the membership portal at launch unless Bargain Club Shop later adds that feature.

13.3 Deletion or De-Identification. Bargain Club Shop will delete or de-identify personal information when required by applicable law and when the information is no longer needed for a permitted retention purpose.

13.4 Records That May Be Retained. Some information may need to be retained even after a deletion request, including order records, tax records, accounting records, fraud records, chargeback records, payment-dispute records, return records, shipping-claim records, legal records, security records, and records needed to enforce the Terms of Service.

13.5 Partial Deletion. If deletion cannot be completed in full because of a legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute, security, operational, or contractual reason, Bargain Club Shop may retain the necessary information and explain the limitation where required by law.

13.6 Loss of Access. Deleted accounts may not be recoverable. A user whose account is deleted may lose access to membership history, claim history, purchase records, community access, and other account features.

14. User Choices and Privacy Rights

14.1 Account Updates. Users may access or update certain account information through the membership portal.

14.2 Membership Cancellation. Users may cancel their membership through the membership portal.

14.3 Privacy Requests. Users may request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights by emailing admin@bargainclubshop.com.

14.4 Verification of Requests. Bargain Club Shop may need to verify your identity before processing a privacy request.

14.5 Limits on Requests. Bargain Club Shop may deny or limit requests where retention is required or permitted for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, chargebacks, disputes, accounting, tax, contractual obligations, or enforcement of the Terms of Service.

14.6 State-Specific Rights. State-specific privacy rights may apply depending on your location and applicable law. These rights may include rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a denial.

15. Testimonials, Screenshots, Reviews, and User Content

15.1 User Content. Bargain Club Shop may publish testimonials, screenshots, reviews, member comments, success stories, or similar user-submitted content.

15.2 Consent Through Platform Use and Submission. By using the platform and submitting content to Bargain Club Shop or Bargain Club Shop-controlled spaces, you consent to Bargain Club Shop's use of that content as described in the Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy.

15.3 Sensitive Information. Bargain Club Shop should avoid publishing sensitive personal information, private account information, order details, addresses, payment information, identity-verification information, or similar private information in testimonials, screenshots, or public-facing materials.

15.4 Removal Requests. You may request removal of published testimonial or screenshot content by emailing admin@bargainclubshop.com, subject to reasonable processing time and any legal, operational, or technical limitations.

16. Children's Privacy

16.1 Adults Only. Bargain Club Shop is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.

16.2 No Knowing Collection from Children Under 13. Bargain Club Shop does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

16.3 Deletion of Child Information. If Bargain Club Shop learns that it has collected personal information from a child under 13, Bargain Club Shop will take reasonable steps to delete it.

17. State-Specific Privacy Rights

17.1 Possible State Rights. Some users may have privacy rights under state privacy laws, such as rights to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, opt out of certain processing, or appeal a denial.

17.2 Rights Depend on Applicable Law. The exact rights depend on the user's state and whether the applicable legal thresholds apply to Bargain Club Shop.

17.3 U.S. Service. Bargain Club Shop serves only United States customers at launch and does not exclude specific U.S. states at launch.

17.4 Future Supplements. Bargain Club Shop reserves the right to provide state-specific notices, supplements, disclosures, forms, or request procedures later.

17.5 Simplified Advertising Disclosure. Because Bargain Club Shop does not use retargeting ads, sell customer lists, or share customer lists for third-party marketing at launch, the initial state-specific disclosures should be simpler than they would be for an advertising-driven ecommerce site.

18. International Users

18.1 U.S.-Only Launch. Bargain Club Shop is intended for United States users only at launch.

18.2 International Restrictions. Bargain Club Shop may restrict access from jurisdictions outside the United States and from any jurisdiction where legal, tax, shipping, subscription, verification, or privacy requirements make service impractical.

18.3 Future International Expansion. If Bargain Club Shop later allows users outside the United States, this Privacy Policy may need additional international data-transfer terms and jurisdiction-specific disclosures.

19. Changes to This Privacy Policy

19.1 Updates. Bargain Club Shop may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

19.2 Posting. Updated versions will be posted on the website or otherwise made available through the service.

19.3 Effective Date. The effective date should be updated when this Privacy Policy changes.

19.4 Continued Use. Continued use of Bargain Club Shop after notice or posting means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy, where permitted by law.
